I have always liked working with my hands and have tried many crafts over the years. I was introduced to art glass about 1998. Since then I have continued working on my techniques for both stained glass and kiln-formed glass and discovered my own whimsical style.

After I retired as a retail clerk at a stationery store, a friend got me started with stained glass. From there I progressed to warm glass … that is heating glass in a kiln to mold and shape it. That opened a whole new world of possibilities.
Now retired from working part-time in a local stained glass store, I still derive much inspiration from the colors and textures that give glass a life of its own.

Recently I have found another craft I am quite enjoying – needle felting wool roving into pictures and 3D items. I also like puns and word play so I hope you enjoy my new creations as much as I do.
