Jeanette Ardern, Abstract Artist
Jeanette designed patterns for cross stitch for many years. About 20 years ago, she wondered if she could do the same thing with paint and paint brush….so Jeanette got a book out of the library, and became a decorative artist. After 6 years as a decorative artist, life got in the way, as it often does.
Just over 7 years ago, Jeanette joined the FCA. At the time, she says she didn’t like Abstract work…”till I saw an FCA demonstration….hooked totally”. Jeanette has great colour sense, but in her words “I don’t draw well, so abstract is the perfect medium for me. I have such fun doing what I do”.
